New KLINGSPOR – cutting-off wheel with increased lateral stability
A 24 R Supra Ø 400mm with good performance and improved product safety
Stationary, hand-held machines are indeed provided with a mounting, which makes it possible to guide the wheel when cutting and to stabilise it against side distortion, yet nonetheless the components are often only fixed by hand during the cutting procedure. This means that a slight tilting of the work piece can occur and this can thereby lead to an increased side loading of the cutting machine – particularly in the case of cut-off wheels with a large diameter.
In order to maximize safety for this kind of work, indeed over and above the legal stipulations, KLINGSPOR has now developed a cutting-off wheel
A24 R Supra Ø 400mm with reinforced lateral load.
Alongside the improved stability the wheel also distinguishes itself by virtue of the usual high cutting performance of the A 24 R Supra series. The best cutting results were obtained on machines which have a capacity of more than 5 KW.
The new KLINGSPOR will be available from February onwards in three different drill diameters (25.4mm, 32 mm and 40mm) and in a width of 4.5mm.
